After Eden and Mankind

We will learn in the days of Noah part 2 that mankind has become evil, one would even say violent. The days of Noah were very different than his 10th great-grandfather. Mankind was living much longer, and by this, producing more children. World populations would possibly be between 7 billion and 10 billion people. This is important to the upcoming Flood story.

Genesis 6:3 leads up to the story of Noah. The verse states, “And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them..” It is important to note that the world was not a better place, but much worse. Evil was present in the world. There are many that will scoff at the thoughts of men being this old, and the world being this heavily populated.

“And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.”

Genesis 6:3

It is important to note that I believe in creation. If you have listened to the days of Noah Part 1 you will recognize that I believe God created everything. I do not think we just came from saltwater. I believe that God created the heavens and the earth. That needs to be stated upfront.

The Days of Noah Part 2

Genesis 1:1 states, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” If you are a believer, you know that we do not leave this up for question. God made it, the end. There are those who are of the liberal mindset of Christianity who will say, “That’s a figure of speech.” However, I do not compromise.

To be a believer in Christ, you either accept God’s word, or you do not. As you may have heard in the days of Noah part 2, I believe that we have to accept God’s word in its entirety. You can not compromise His word to help your feelings. There are some things that we have to accept by faith and faith alone.

The Reason for the Flood

The days of Noah were some very troubling times. As I have stated earlier, mankind had procreated a lot. God had created males and females for a necessary reason. Adam and Eve were in God’s beautiful creation and sin entered in via disobedience. This disobedience has now grown into full-blown nastiness.

“And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”

Genesis 6:13

The Bible teaches in Luke Genesis 6:13 “And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.” The Bible introduces a word that many of you have heard before, Hamas. The Hebrew word for violence is Hamas. The world was full of the evilness of mankind.
